Yes, we have both the tools and the experience to expand into new domains quickly.
Our articles or proposals are multi-disciplinary — can you provide experts for each topic?
Yes. Advanced settings let you choose which topics to analyze and we'll rank experts for each.
What if an author is not active anymore?
We don't propose authors who haven't published in the last two years. You can also report an author as inactive.
Can we analyze only people from our own list?
Yes. We can restrict suggestions to the pool you provide, or combine yours with our 99M+ researchers.
We already have a long history of choosing referees — can we use that somehow?
Yes. We adjust rankings based on additional information you provide (availability, promptness, quality of refereeing, etc.).
Do you detect conflicts of interest when affiliations are written in different forms and languages?
Yes. Our AI matches EPFL with École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, CERN with European Organization for Nuclear Research, Bohr Inst. with Niels Bohr Institute (part of Copenhagen University), and so on.
We have strict privacy rules and cannot share our papers — can we still use Referee Finder?
Yes. We provide a tool that creates non-human-readable fingerprints of your documents on your premises. You retain full control over what is transferred to Prophy.
What's your approach to security?
Security is a first-class concern. We hold ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, and our practices are also aligned with SOC 2 Type 2. We run continuous vulnerability scanning, require security training for all staff, and commission regular third-party penetration tests. Our Trust Center carries the certificate and our current controls, and our team is happy to walk you through them for a vendor security review.
